Description

This is a senior-level Internal Audit position at TD Bank, N.A., responsible for leading complex audit engagements related to US Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM). The role involves contributing to audit planning, risk assessment, execution, and providing leadership and coaching to audit teams, ensuring strategies align with regulatory standards.

What We're Looking For

Contribute to the Audit planning process, including plans, resource requirements, and budgets.,Have overall responsibility for completion of audits.,Plan and lead audits, overseeing staff working on multiple audits.,Work independently with minimal oversight and manage end-to-end audit engagements applying advanced understanding of audit methodology.,Define scope, oversee planning, and audit execution.,Perform testing of critical areas of audit and review audit documentation.,Oversee findings follow-up and issue validation.,Ensure documentation and reporting are ready for review by leadership.,May oversee and/or independently perform multiple concurrent audits.,Ensure audits are executed and completed in accordance with established standards and within prescribed time, budget, and scope parameters.,Oversee a small to medium sized team assigned to a given audit and provide coaching and feedback on performance.,Evaluate internal and external risks for assigned business lines and/or functions utilizing subject matter expertise.,Act as primary contact with management regarding audit scope, findings, and status.,Oversee testing of design and operational effectiveness focused on TD Bank's US Operational Risk Management (ORM) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree.,7+ years of relevant experience.,Banking industry audit experience with focus on Governance, Risk & Oversight Function strongly preferred.,Relevant professional certifications, accounting designations, or other relevant industry certifications strongly preferred (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA, FRM, CRMA).,Advanced knowledge of audit standards, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.
