This senior-level role within TD Bank's U.S. Compliance Audit function involves providing specialized expertise, contributing to the planning, risk assessment, and execution of audits. The primary focus is on auditing US Consumer Compliance regulations (e.g., UDAAP, Fair Lending) and overseeing the testing of design and operational effectiveness of TD Bank's US Operational Risk Management (ORM) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks to ensure robust risk mitigation strategies aligned with regulatory standards. The role also includes leading complex audit engagements, providing guidance to team members, and ensuring timely execution.

What We're Looking For

Contribute to the planning, risk assessment, and execution of audits and related processes.,Lead or serve as Auditor-In-Charge on complex audit engagements.,Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and guidance to engagement team members.,Oversee testing of design and operational effectiveness of TD Bank's US Operational Risk Management (ORM) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks.,Support the development and implementation of audit programs.,Participate in audit engagements across multiple areas, ensuring adherence to standards and timelines.,Execute the development of Audit Planning Memorandum (APM), Process Risk and Control Matrix (pRCM), Findings Grid, and Audit Report.,Complete L1 reviews/sign off on all audit activities (walkthroughs, test scripts, test results, grid, evidence uploads).,Oversee/lead audits and/or execute the follow-up of findings from internal audits and regulatory reviews.,Oversee/lead ongoing audit communications and reporting with stakeholders, senior management, and external auditors.,Contribute to audit initiatives by providing input and assisting in the design and testing of solutions.,Lead/manage the integrated implementation of policies/processes/procedures/changes across multiple functional areas.,Act as the audit lead or audit advisor to management for area of specialization.,Report on emerging trends, identifying issues and opportunities and recommending action to senior management.,Adhere to internal policies/procedures, enterprise frameworks, methodologies, and applicable regulatory guidelines.,Manage relationships with business lines/corporate and/or control functions.,Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements.,Assess/identify key issues and escalate to appropriate levels.,Maintain a culture of risk management and control.,Provide thought leadership and/or industry knowledge for own area of expertise.,Encourage a positive work environment and ensure timely communication of issues.,Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency.,Work effectively as a team, supporting other members and providing stakeholder services.,Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business units.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree required,7+ years of relevant experience,Experience as a former OCC, CFPB, FDIC, FRB, or NCUA compliance examiner (Preferred),Banking industry audit experience with focus on Governance, Risk & Oversight Function (Strongly preferred),Relevant professional certifications, accounting designations, or other relevant industry certifications (e.g., CIA, CRCM) (Strongly preferred),Advanced knowledge of audit standards, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
