This role is for an Audit Manager II within the Internal Audit Division's Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) team. The individual will be responsible for planning and executing complex quality assurance reviews for various internal audit groups, managing relationships with these teams, and delivering analysis and reports. The role requires expertise in Institute of Internal Auditors Standards, financial industry landscape, and current market trends to mitigate risks and enhance operational performance within TD Bank.
Plan and perform complex quality assurance reviews for multiple internal audit groups.,Manage associated working relationships with internal audit teams.,Deliver quality assurance reviews analysis and reporting.,Act as a specialized resource on quality assurance reviews, providing subject matter expertise for planning, execution, and reporting.,Play a key role in developing and implementing programs to contribute to the strategic direction of the QAIP Plan.,Lead and execute quality assurance activities that require alignment across multiple areas, including follow-ups of findings.,Lead ongoing QAIP audit communications and reporting with audit teams, senior management, and external auditors.,Guide the team and participate in identification, design, testing, and implementation of complex QAIP initiatives.,Identify and resolve key issues, providing guidance for complex situations and reporting non-standard issues.,Keep current on emerging trends and evolving regulatory requirements to recommend improvement areas.,Build a positive, diverse, and open work environment by improving efficiency and encouraging teamwork.
Over 7 years of experience in auditing and/or quality assurance.,Undergraduate degree.,Relevant professional certifications or designations.,Advanced knowledge of the Standards of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Risk Management, and Compliance.,Advanced knowledge of Investment Securities, Investment Advisory & Wealth Management, Capital Adequacy & Stress Testing, and Credit Risk Management Adjudication.,Deep knowledge of auditing, quality assurance, and integration of cross functional processes.,Expertise in using software tools, windows applications, data analysis, and reporting techniques.,Strong team leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills.,Aptitude in exercising sound judgment and handling confidential information with discretion.,Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
