Audit Manager II, Financial Crimes, High Risk Area (667)

Description

The Audit Manager II, Financial Crimes Audit, High Risk Areas, contributes to the Financial Crimes Centre of Excellence within TD's Audit Department. This role involves supporting and managing the Financial Crimes Audit Program, ensuring the effectiveness and regulatory compliance of internal controls. Key responsibilities include assessing financial crime internal controls, managing issues, audit planning, risk assessment, and participating in ad-hoc projects. The Audit Manager II also acts as an Auditor In Charge (AIC), overseeing audit teams, and collaborates with other audit groups across various business segments and corporate functions to mitigate risks and enhance operational performance within the bank.

Over 7 years of relevant experience with an undergraduate degree,Relevant professional certifications and accounting designations,Advanced knowledge of business processes, operations, risk, change and project methodologies, organizational practices, and business transformation,Expertise in software tools, Windows applications, data analysis, and reporting techniques,Strong team leadership, negotiation, and influence skills with key partners and employees,Aptitude for exercising sound judgment and handling confidential information with discretion,Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively both orally and in writing,Deep knowledge of specialist auditing and integration of cross-functional processes for various audit projects and initiatives

Ideal Candidate

Financial Crime designations (CAMS, CFE, FIS, CFCS),Strong knowledge of Financial Crimes regulations (AML, ATF, sanctions), FATF recommendations, and related frameworks,Strong knowledge of FINTRAC Guidelines and Interpretations, Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and Regulations, Criminal Code, and Sanctions Regulations,Knowledge of Financial Crimes Governance, Reporting, Regulatory Compliance Management, Policy, Standards, Procedures, Customer Due Diligence (CDD/KYC), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), Customer Risk Rating (including High Risk Customer Types like MSB, PEP, HIOs),Knowledge of Investigations, Sanctions, and Regulatory Reporting (LCTRs, EFTRs, TPRs, STRs) and Transaction Monitoring,Experience and proficiency in audit, monitoring, testing, quality assurance, and quality control,Understanding and proficiency of data management controls, information technology, models, and data analytics
