Description

The Audit Manager I – U.S. Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) is responsible for leading and executing audit engagements according to established plans and regulatory guidelines for TD Bank's Governance, Risk & Oversight Functions. This role involves participating in the planning, execution, and documentation of moderately complex to complex audits, ensuring timely completion and alignment with management expectations. The manager will also mentor staff auditors, manage relationships with senior management, and contribute to improving risk management practices.

What We're Looking For

Lead a team responsible for assigned audits, acting as Auditor-In-Charge.

Supervise and assign tasks to team members, review staff workpapers, and draft audit reports.

Identify and assess key risks and controls, developing effective test plans.

Support the audit opinion through detailed testing and analysis of controls, procedures, and reporting.

Ensure documentation and reporting are ready for leadership review.

Identify gaps, weaknesses, or inefficiencies in business processes and recommend improvements.

Manage time and staffing budgets for upcoming audits and handle audit planning.

Serve as a subject matter expert in at least one discipline.

Provide on-the-job training for staff and assist in staff evaluations.

Update, revise, and improve existing audit procedures and programs.

Undergraduate degree required.

5+ years of related Audit experience required.

Ideal Candidate

5+ years of related Audit experience.

Banking industry audit experience with a focus on Governance, Risk & Oversight Function (preferred).

Relevant professional certifications, accounting designations preferred (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA, FRM, CRMA).
