The Audit Manager I is a subject matter expert responsible for independently overseeing and performing end-to-end audits. This role involves leading moderately complex audits, ensuring adherence to established standards, and contributing to audit planning and risk assessments. The manager will execute control testing, develop audit documentation, and present objective audit opinions to stakeholders, while also managing ongoing communications and following up on findings. They will contribute to projects, identify risks, and recommend control improvements within their area of specialization. Oversee and independently perform audits from end-to-end,Lead moderately complex audits and ensure completion,Undertake and complete various projects and initiatives, including cross-functional process integration,Process and handle confidential information with discretion,Conduct audit work based on established audit plans and in accordance with standards,Execute testing of controls (walkthroughs, test scripts, issue management),Develop Audit Planning Memorandum (APM), Process Risk and Control Matrix (pRCM), Findings Grid, and Audit Report,Complete L1 reviews/sign-off on all audit activities,Contribute to audit planning, ensuring appropriate programs and risk assessments,Manage ongoing audit communications with stakeholders,Present objective and independent audit opinions on internal controls,Execute follow-up of findings from regulatory and internal audits,Provide subject matter expertise to audit projects, identifying key risks and control gaps,Adhere to internal policies, procedures, frameworks, and regulatory guidelines,Contribute to the review of internal processes and identify control weaknesses/failures and efficiency opportunities,Develop and provide complex reporting, analysis, and assessments,Prioritize and manage workload to deliver quality results and meet timelines,Keep current on emerging trends and developments in the business, analytical tools, and techniques,Develop and deliver audit findings presentations/communications,Assess/identify key issues and escalate as required,Contribute to analysis, due diligence, and implementation of initiatives,Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise,Support a positive work environment and ensure timely communication of issues,Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity and operational efficiency,Establish effective relationships across multiple businesses,Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business units
Undergraduate degree required,5+ years of relevant experience
