Atlantic Regional Specialist, Health & Safety

Collaborate with peers to implement company safety policies through training and education, ensuring compliance with Corporate and Governmental Safety Standards.,Work with the Corporate Health & Safety team and other Specialists to promote a culture of employee engagement and continuous learning.,Drive change through comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis, proactively reviewing and executing safety programs.,Conduct system-based risk reviews, energy hazard assessments, and routine control verifications.,Provide guidance on site incidents, developing supervisors' skills in investigation and report preparation with strong corrective actions.,Ensure effective information flow from experienced personnel.,Audit facilities for legislative and corporate compliance and identify areas for improvement.,Partner with local agencies to build strong relationships and develop industry knowledge within the dairy/food sector.

A degree/diploma in Health and Safety or equivalent work experience.,Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation is preferred.,2-3 years of Health and Safety leadership experience in a medium to large organization.,Thorough understanding of Atlantic provincial regulations, CSA standards, and ISO 45001.,Experience in HOP (Human & Organizational Performance), training delivery, coaching.,Motivated to seek and understand problems using a systems approach.,Ability to communicate key HOP messages to senior leaders, site leaders, workforce, and business partners.,Understanding of operational learning methodologies, including learning from incidents and normal work.,Ability to evaluate safeguards for error-likely scenarios.,Recognized leadership and autonomy, excellent communication, planning, and work organization skills.

Degree/Diploma in Health and Safety

Ability to travel to Atlantic sites and work all shifts as required.
