Description

The Associate position at RBC Dominion Securities in downtown Vancouver provides administrative support to an Advisory Team. Responsibilities include delivering quality client service and strengthening client relationships through efficient support to clients and advisors.

What We're Looking For

Coordinate and prepare client/prospect meetings for Advisors.

Provide proactive client service, focusing on problem resolution and attention to detail.

Liaise with various departments for task execution.

Respond to client inquiries regarding account transactions, tax receipts, and reporting.

Assist the Advisor team with client onboarding.

Manage incoming communications from clients, Advisors, and internal/external partners.

Maintain existing client accounts, identify contact opportunities, and manage timelines/key dates.

Ensure accurate and timely updates of documentation in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Maintain complete and up-to-date client files.

Follow up on client trades for proper settlement and delivery.

Ideal Candidate

Must Have:

Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) or CFA 1 (preferred)

Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills

High level of time management and organization skills

Demonstrated world-class client service skills (professional, warm, friendly)

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures
