Description

The Associate role at RBC involves providing proactive sales support and responsive client contact for Financial Planners in Northern Ontario. The position focuses on achieving sales objectives through a differentiated client experience, collaborating with partners, identifying client needs, and strengthening client relationships.

What We're Looking For

Key responsibilities include working with Financial Planners on pre- and post-interaction enablement, client service, and fulfillment related to financial plans. This involves identifying client needs, making referrals, expanding client relationships, and assisting with preparations for client meetings and the fulfillment of banking solutions. The role also requires being a digital ambassador, keeping current with technology, and adhering to policies and procedures to mitigate operational risk.

Ideal Candidate

Candidates must have Mutual Funds accreditation (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course), expertise across everyday banking, investments, and credit, strong client contact routines, flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, a hunger for success, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. A track record in building client relationships within the financial industry and the ability to provide complex financial advice for personal and business clients are considered assets.
