Description

This opportunity is with RBC Dominion Securities, Canada's leading full-service investment and wealth management firm. The role involves providing exceptional client service and support, helping to deepen existing relationships, and welcoming new clients. The Associate will also handle general practice administration, maintain client accounts, ensure compliance with documentation, and work with Investment Advisors on portfolio management and wealth planning.

What We're Looking For

Maintain existing client accounts including model management, trade execution, position rebalancing, cash raises, and EFTs.,Follow up on client trades for proper settlement and delivery.,Respond to client inquiries efficiently (account transactions, requests, documentation, reporting).,Perform ad hoc analysis on products and/or accounts as directed by the Advisor Team.,Cross-train on various office administration functions (account opening, meeting preparation, managing communications).,Utilize problem-resolution skills for proactive client service and liaise with departments for solutions.,Become proficient in internal controls and industry regulatory requirements to ensure accurate and compliant client files.

Ideal Candidate

Must-have: Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE),Must-have: Strong skills with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Excel, and basic numeracy.,Must-have: High quality time management and organization skills.,Must-have: Demonstrated skills in providing world-class, professional, warm, and friendly client service.,Must-have: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.,Nice-to-have: Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures.,Nice-to-have: Experience in the securities industry.
