This role is with CIBC's Capital Markets within the Mid-Market Solutions Group, focusing on supporting the distribution of FX, Interest Rates, and Commodities. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced trading floor environment, providing exceptional service to Commercial Banking / Mid-Market Clients and aiming to increase the distribution of these financial products. The position requires dedication and partnership within a specific geographic coverage area.

What We're Looking For

Support the distribution of FX, Interest Rates and Commodities within the Mid-Market Solutions Group.,Operate effectively in a fast-paced trading floor environment.,Provide exceptional service and support to Commercial Banking / Mid-Market Clients.,Focus on activities that will increase the distribution of FX, IRD, and Commodities.,Act as a trusted partner, providing dedicated support for districts within a geographic coverage area.,Possess a valid Driver's License and be willing to travel 20% - 30% of the time.,Work on-site full-time.,Work closely with MSG Commercial Bankers and other Global Markets colleagues to develop appropriate hedging solutions and ensure timely execution for clients.,Liaise with other CIBC infrastructure groups (ISSG, Credit, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Client Onboarding, etc.) as needed.,Manage client requests across multiple platforms and support senior salespeople.,Prepare presentations and reports for clients, involving research, data collection, analysis, and organization.,Cross-sell other products based on availability and client requirements.,Monitor, track, and analyze market activities and economic factors.,Develop product knowledge through self-directed study and learning sessions.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree or MBA/Masters in a STEM program, Finance, or Commerce.,Knowledge of corporate finance theory, financial analysis, and valuation.,Minimum of 3+ years of related business experience.,Demonstrated experience in FX, as well as data management, analysis, and reporting (asset if applied to support decision-making or drive business outcomes).
