Description

The Associate, Private Banking role at CIBC involves providing comprehensive administrative and sales support to Private Banking Advisors. This includes delivering exceptional service to high-net-worth clients, assisting with their transactional banking needs, lending, borrowing, and investment inquiries, and efficiently resolving any client issues or concerns. The role also requires managing various operational tasks and contributing to client event coordination.

What We're Looking For

Provide administrative and sales support to Private Banking Advisors.,Deliver exceptional service to Private Banking clients.,Assist clients with transactional banking, lending, borrowing, investing, or commercial lending needs.,Promptly address client queries, issues, and concerns.,Service the financial needs of existing clients when the Private Banking Advisor is unavailable, including sales of high-value products and services within established guidelines.,Respond to incoming telephone calls and client requests for processing wires/cables, visa, tax, and bill payments.,Manage fax requests for money orders, drafts, and currency exchanges.,Complete complex investigations for clients concerning account activity.,Coordinate communication with customers regarding necessary financial information for credit renewals, reviews, and temporary overdraft protection.,Monitor diaries for upcoming maturities/renews/expiries and advise the Private Banking Advisor.,Assist in rolling out special marketing or client events.,Ensure marketing material is current.,Carry out activities related to building and maintaining deposits and investment accounts.

Ideal Candidate

Demonstrated experience with loan, mortgage, and investment products sufficient to respond to general customer inquiries.,Working knowledge of branch routine and operations of other departments and CIBC partners, sufficient to address client inquiries adequately and/or refer to appropriate source.
