This role involves working closely with a Senior Private Banker to manage and expand a portfolio of cash management, lending, and investment products for CIBC Private Wealth Management. The associate will provide exceptional service to Ultra-High Net Worth (UHNW) clients by assisting with transactional banking needs, supporting client introductions to other bank partners, and contributing to the overall profitability and client relationship management.
Contribute to building a High Net Worth (HNW) client portfolio, focusing on banking, credit, and investment needs.,Perform risk assessment and in-depth financial analysis on HNW clients.,Resolve complex credit issues in collaboration with Credit Specialists and Commercial Banking.,Provide specialized services to key HNW markets, including professional services partners.,Review client portfolios holistically to identify opportunities for new products and services.,Meet regularly with clients for portfolio reviews and solution introductions.,Understand wealth generation by small to medium business enterprises.,Acquire new clients with sophisticated financial needs, influence, or requiring complex global financial solutions.,Develop untapped opportunities for CIBC Private Wealth Management within the HNW market.,Represent CIBC on Boards, participate in charitable organizations, and engage in social networks.,Play an active role in large deal teams for ultra-HNW clients.,Continuously update knowledge on current events, economic/financial environments, trends, product developments, and legislative changes.,Be involved in the community through business and industry associations.,Demonstrate commitment to CIBC values: trust, teamwork, and accountability.
Current accreditation and good standing as an Investment Representative (IR) with Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID).,Completion of Professional Financial Planning Course and continuing education towards Certified Financial Planners Designation.,Demonstrated experience in personal financial planning concepts.,Strong knowledge of all banking, investment, and credit products and services.,Financial services experience in private banking, wealth advisory, or brokerage.,Relationship management skills to build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities.,Demonstrated success in building and maintaining new client relationships.,Established profile in the local business community.,Knowledge of a diverse marketplace and local client needs.
