As an Associate, you will provide direct client and sales support to Financial Planners, allowing them to focus on client planning and advice. This role involves contributing to an exceptional client experience by offering value-added support and resolving problems. You will collaborate with partners across the organization to identify and meet client needs, strengthen relationships, and simplify their banking experience with RBC. Additionally, you will play a leadership role in the development of other Associates and bring forward innovative ideas to improve efficiency within the Financial Planning Team.
Enable Financial Planners by assisting with preparations for client meetings and supporting the fulfillment of credit, investments, and everyday banking solutions.,Provide consistent support to client requests, act as a primary point of contact for client problems, and ensure accuracy of documentation with necessary follow-ups.,Leverage established routines to efficiently complete client tasks, identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency.,Maximize opportunities to identify client needs, make referrals, expand profitable client relationships, and track progress against the team's annual plan.,Exercise due diligence in adhering to all policies and procedures, and identify/correct areas of operational risk.,Support Financial Planners with administrative activities, applying a continuous improvement approach to achieve a superior client experience.,Mutual Funds accreditation (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada, or the Canadian Securities Course).,Previous experience in personal lending, investments, and general banking with direct client interaction.,Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage competing priorities, as well as multitasking and problem-solving skills.,IT literacy including the Microsoft Office suite of products and digital knowledge.,Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with partners in person, via email, and on the phone.,Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a hunger for success.,Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, demonstrating strong collaboration skills.,Experience using Linx, Casper, Sales Platform, RBC Investment System, CART, and IRIS.,Bilingualism (English and French) required.
