Associate Marketing Manager (Display, Social Media & Affiliate Advertising)

Description

The Associate Marketing Manager, part of TD's Canadian Marketing team, will drive digital marketing transformation and enhance the digital marketing ecosystem to enable personalized customer communications. This role focuses on optimizing the customer journey, improving performance, and driving ROI across various digital marketing channels. Key responsibilities include managing display advertising, social media, and affiliate marketing budgets and campaigns, with a specific focus on Credit Cards Line of Business, to maximize conversion and reduce customer acquisition costs. The role also involves engaging with agencies and internal partners to deliver best-in-class strategies.

What We're Looking For

Manage the strategic development and execution of display advertising, social media, and affiliate campaigns with post-click conversion metrics as objectives.,Leverage social media expertise and best practices for planning and executing social media strategy.,Manage budgets and optimize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to maximize ROI.,Oversee the affiliate partner content update review process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.,Optimize end-to-end campaigns (segments, creative, content, networks, channels, tactics) in real-time.,Manage content and engagement for assigned branded social media channels.,Engage with agencies, vendors, publishers, and key internal partners to deliver best-in-class strategies.,Partner with Integrated Marketing Planning, Targeted Marketing, Channels, and business units to achieve sales goals and digital sales objectives.,Contribute to integrated marketing strategies and annual forecasts.,Ensure compliance with TD process and governance control requirements.,Provide insights on performance and reporting results for all display advertising and social media marketing programs.,Stay informed on industry trends and applicable technologies, including Ad Display, Social media, SEM, SEO, and online consumer behavior.

Ideal Candidate

Minimum 4 years of hands-on platform digital marketing experience with social media.,Experience with display, SEM, and/or affiliate marketing is advantageous (affiliate marketing experience is an asset, training provided if needed).,Experience managing performance marketing campaigns through digital channels, including programmatic and social.,Experience with digital acquisition campaigns in an always-on environment, demonstrating incremental improvements.,Experience developing, leading, executing social media strategies, and analyzing/reporting results.,Experience engaging in agency and vendor relationships.,Exposure to developing scorecards, executive-level reports, and utilizing data for digital media optimization.,Strong business acumen, including strategic thinking, business process development, analytical, and problem-solving skills.,Proven interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to obtain consensus among multiple stakeholders.,Strong teamwork orientation and proven leadership capabilities.,Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing environment, requiring ongoing re-evaluation of priorities.,Understanding and experience with financial institutions' product offerings is an asset.,University or Post-Secondary education required.,A degree in Business or Marketing Communications is an asset.
