Associate Manager, Collections

Description

The Associate Manager, Collections will be part of the Collections team, providing an excellent client experience by offering advice and solutions to clients in need. This role involves managing delinquent and challenging accounts and supporting clients through the RCAP Leasing brand.

What We're Looking For

Respond empathetically to client questions and resolve financial concerns.,Contact customers to collect total arrears including past due rental payments, interest, and fees.,Resolve problems at the first point of contact in a friendly and helpful manner, maintaining partner relationships.,Negotiate payment plans to reduce loss from delinquent accounts.,Work with clients, vendors, and asset remarketing companies to recover equipment.,Initiate activities like sending letters, equipment recovery, and assigning bailiffs for uncollectable accounts to mitigate loss.,Prepare receivership and/or bankruptcy documentation and contact Trustees for secured equipment release.,Analyze accounts to prioritize high-priority cases for immediate attention.,Bilingualism (English and French) is required.,Proven interpersonal, communication, and problem-resolution skills.,Ability to build rapport and offer appropriate solutions while mitigating risk.,Desire to build exceptional client experiences and a passion for helping clients.,Strong oral and written communication skills.,Strong organizational and time-management skills.,Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ideal Candidate

Past experience in a customer service role providing needs-based solutions (Nice to have).,Past experience in the equipment leasing industry (Nice to have).
