Associate, Investment Banking - Communications & Media

Work within a deal team under the overall direction of a senior officer.,Research and analyze clients' financial situations, industry and market data, and mergers and acquisition opportunities.,Value private and public companies.,Perform complex financial and M&A modeling.,Prepare external client proposals and internal underwriting memos.,Prepare client presentations based upon analysis.,Assist with client negotiations and documentation.,Provide structure, transactional and marketing support at a professional and subject matter expert level to support senior team members as required.,Recommend and implement solutions, as well as providing advanced analysis or specialized work.,Develop and maintain contacts with market participants.,Provide updates regarding institutional/retail demand and remaining TD liability for equity deals.,Work closely with/oversee junior colleagues to ensure accuracy.,Establish an environment that promotes respect for the individual employee and adheres to the policies and guidelines of the Bank.,Maintain confidentiality of client information.,Keep fully informed on market data, economic information, key industry developments, and regulatory standards.,Direct, train, and develop staff.,Demonstrate governance, control and risk management behaviors in alignment with TD policies and practices.

Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics,3+ Years of related experience
