Description

RBC Dominion Securities, Canada's leading full-service investment and wealth management firm, is seeking an Associate Advisor to join a successful Advisory Team in Courtenay, BC. This role involves working with an Investment Advisor team to provide proactive advice and support to clients, deepen existing relationships, and identify new business opportunities. The Associate Advisor will collaborate on client meetings, support new client acquisition, provide proactive client service, coordinate with internal specialists, offer financial planning advice, manage relationships with Centers of Influence, and use proprietary software for financial plans.

What We're Looking For

Collaborate with an investment advisor in organizing and facilitating meetings and events for clients and prospects.,Shape agendas, identify essential discussion topics, prepare documentation, handle post-meeting follow-ups, and attend client meetings as needed.,Support advisory team with new client acquisition.,Provide proactive client service and problem resolution.,Liaise with various departments to provide smooth and timely solutions.,Coordinate activities with internal Wealth Management specialists, manage documentation, track progress, and follow up.,Provide bespoke financial planning advice and wealth management strategies.,Nurture and manage valuable relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) and RBC partners.,Identify and execute opportunities among existing client base for asset consolidation, referrals, etc.,Use proprietary software to prepare financial plans.

Ideal Candidate

At least 3 years of relevant investment industry experience,Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE),Retail Securities Exam,Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course / University degree,CIM / FMA designations (an asset),Salesforce experience (an asset)
