Associate, Global Investment Banking, Mergers & Acquisitions

Description

The Associate in Global Investment Banking, Mergers & Acquisitions will be responsible for transaction execution, preparing new business presentations, and participating in client meetings. This role involves collaborating with Analysts to develop financial models, pitch books, and client materials, as well as presenting market updates and new ideas to clients regarding capital markets, M&A, and capital raising. The Associate will also identify and escalate operational risks and ensure compliance with firm policies.

What We're Looking For

Execute transactions and manage new business presentations and meetings.,Work with Analysts to develop financial models, pitch books, and client materials.,Collaborate with deal teams to present market updates and new ideas to clients (capital markets, M&A, capital raising).,Proactively identify operational risks/control deficiencies and escalate them.,Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to business activities.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree and MBA, MA or MS or equivalent with emphasis in finance/accounting.,Minimum of two years of Investment Banking experience, with previous experience in the M&A space highly desired.,Solid understanding of capital markets and spreadsheet modeling.,Strong knowledge of finance and accounting.,Series 79 & 63 licensed.,Must maintain high standards of professional and ethical conduct.
