Description

The Associate, GIB Industrials will provide Investment Banking services including Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Debt Capital Markets (DCM), and leverage finance to corporate and private equity clients within the Industrials sector. This role involves assisting in the marketing and execution of various financial transactions, collaborating with local and global teams, developing client relationships, and identifying and escalating operational risks.

What We're Looking For

Key responsibilities include assisting in the marketing and execution of M&A, equity, and financing transactions in the Industrials sector; working closely with other local and global teams; helping to develop relationships and generate revenue from corporate and private equity clients; proactively identifying operational risks/control deficiencies; reviewing and complying with Firm Policies; and promptly escalating operational risk loss events, control deficiencies, and risks. Must-have qualifications include a degree, FCA registration/Approved person status, previous investment banking or corporate M&A experience, in-depth knowledge of Investment Banking services with creative application abilities, and sound judgment in valuation with strong research and analytical skills.

Ideal Candidate

Must-have: Degree educated, FCA registered/Approved person, previous investment banking or corporate M&A experience, in-depth knowledge of Investment Banking services and ability to apply them creatively to diverse client needs, sound judgement particularly in valuation matters with strong research and analytical skills. Nice-to-have: Prior Industrials, specifically Capital Goods sector experience.

Special Commitments

Willingness to work in the office with some flexibility for up to 1 day per week remotely. Requires prompt escalation of operational risks; failure to do so may lead to disciplinary action.
