Description

This role involves providing proactive sales support and responsive client contact to a team of Financial Planners at RBC. The Associate is responsible for helping achieve sales objectives, contributing to a distinct client experience, and collaborating with internal partners to meet client financial needs and strengthen relationships. It focuses on current and upcoming opportunities within the Vancouver Lower Mainland.

What We're Looking For

As a strategic member of the Financial Planning team, you will work directly with Financial Planners to facilitate pre and post-interaction client services and financial plan fulfillment. This includes maximizing opportunities to identify client needs, making referrals, expanding profitable client relationships, and tracking sales progress. You will also assist with client meeting preparations, support credit, investment, and everyday banking solutions, educate clients through digital channels, and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures to mitigate operational risk.

Ideal Candidate

Must-have: Mutual Funds accreditation (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada, or the Canadian Securities Course),

Must-have: Ability to operate as a 'One RBC Advisor' with comprehensive knowledge across everyday banking, investments, and credit, capable of delivering a robust Advice Experience for personal and business needs,

Must-have: Strong client contact routines to proactively build calendars, integrate retention, and anchoring activities to achieve team results,

Must-have: Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a drive for success,

Must-have: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment,

Must-have: Capability to leverage personal expertise and the right partners within the RBC ecosystem to meet clients' full range of financial needs,

Nice-to-have: Proven track record in building rapport and maintaining client relationships within the financial industry,

Nice-to-have: Ability to provide increasingly complex everyday banking, investment, and credit advice for both personal and business clients
