Description

As an Associate Financial Advisor within the Personal and Business Banking team at CIBC, you will work in a banking centre to understand and address the financial needs of personal and small business clients. This involves providing personalized solutions, managing mortgage client portfolios to deepen relationships, and being flexible with banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends, as well as working at various banking centres within a reasonable travel distance. The role focuses on delivering a positive client experience and making a meaningful impact on clients' financial goals.

What We're Looking For

Client engagement: Understand personal and business priorities, advise on solutions, provide forward-looking financial plans, and ensure investment, financial, and credit-related needs are met by offering comprehensive retail banking solutions or making appropriate referrals.,Relationship building: Participate in marketing and outreach activities to show client appreciation, expand your network, strengthen existing relationships, and collaborate internally to connect clients with suitable opportunities.,Business development: Build relationships by networking with clients' families and friends, identify new business opportunities, proactively call existing and potential clients for growth, and engage in community and banking centre events to enhance CIBC's presence and market share.,Leveraging technology: Become proficient in technology and educate clients on mobile banking applications to help them manage their banking needs more effectively.

Ideal Candidate

2 – 3 years of experience in providing financial advice to clients and achieving sales results through advice-based conversations.,Current accreditation and good standing in Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada).,Must meet eligibility requirements for CIRO-MFD licensing.,Asset: Current accreditation and good standing in CFSA (Certificate of Financial Services Advice).
