The Associate Financial Advisor at CIBC will be responsible for understanding clients' personal and small business financial needs, recommending personalized solutions, and managing mortgage client portfolios to deepen relationships within a fast-paced banking center. The role involves flexibility to work various banking hours, including evenings and weekends, and may require working at multiple banking locations within a reasonable travel distance. The position is full-time and on-site.
Engage with clients to understand their personal and business priorities, advise on solutions, and provide financial plans.,Ensure clients’ investment, financial, and credit needs are met, or facilitate introductions to appropriate Imperial Service and Business Banking colleagues.,Participate in marketing and outreach activities to build and deepen client relationships.,Network with clients’ families and friends to identify business opportunities and refer to partners.,Contact existing and potential clients to identify opportunities for growth and revenue.,Engage in community and banking centre events to enhance CIBC’s presence and gain market share.,Become proficient in technology and introduce clients to mobile banking applications.,Demonstrate a client-first approach and be goal-oriented.,Possess strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.,Be passionate about building relationships with diverse individuals.,Show a strong sense of curiosity and a willingness to learn.
Current accreditation and good standing in Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada).,Must meet eligibility requirements for CIRO-MFD licensing.,Asset: Current accreditation and good standing in CFSA (Certificate of Financial Services Advice).
