Description

As an Associate Financial Advisor at CIBC, you will engage with personal and small business clients to understand their financial needs and provide personalized solutions. This role involves managing a portfolio of mortgage clients, focusing on deepening client relationships, and contributing to the Personal and Business Banking team in a fast-paced banking center. You will be instrumental in helping clients achieve their financial goals through comprehensive retail banking offers and referrals to other specialists. The role emphasizes client engagement, relationship building, business development, and leveraging technology to enhance client banking experiences.

What We're Looking For

Meet with clients to understand their personal and business priorities, advise on solutions, and provide forward-looking financial plans.,Ensure clients’ investment, financial, and credit-related needs are met through comprehensive retail banking offers or appropriate referrals.,Engage in marketing and outreach activities to build and deepen client and community relationships.,Grow network, deepen existing relationships, and collaborate with team members to connect clients with relevant opportunities.,Create relationships by networking with clients’ families and friends to uncover business opportunities and refer to partners.,Call existing and potential clients to identify opportunities for growth and revenue.,Participate in community and banking centre events (e.g., business development, client appreciation) to enhance CIBC's presence and market share.,Introduce clients to mobile banking applications and help them manage their banking needs using technology.,Demonstrate 2-3 years of experience in providing financial advice to clients and achieving sales results through advice-based conversations.,Current accreditation and good standing in Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada).,Meet eligibility requirements for CIRO-MFD licensing.
