The Associate Financial Advisor will work within the Personal and Business Banking team at a Banking Centre. This role involves understanding clients' financial needs, recommending personalized solutions, and managing a portfolio of mortgage clients to deepen relationships. The advisor will engage in client meetings, build relationships through outreach, participate in business development activities, and leverage technology to assist clients with mobile banking.
Meet with clients to understand personal and business priorities, advise on solutions, and provide financial plans.,Ensure clients' investment, financial, and credit-related needs are met, or make introductions to appropriate colleagues.,Engage in marketing and outreach activities to build and deepen client relationships.,Network with clients' families and friends to uncover opportunities and make referrals.,Contact existing and potential clients to identify growth opportunities.,Participate in community and banking centre events to enhance CIBC's presence and gain market share.,Introduce clients to mobile banking applications and assist them with their banking needs.,Flexible to work banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends.,Flexible to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance.
Current accreditation and good standing in Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada).,Must meet eligibility requirements for CIRO-MFD licensing.,Asset: Current accreditation and good standing in CFSA (Certificate of Financial Services Advice).
