Associate Director, Wholesale Financial Resource Advisory

Description

This role involves acting as a subject matter expert within the global Financial Resource Advisory team, focusing on developing balance sheet analytical expertise, providing forward-looking analytical support, and managing the planning and forecasting of Capital Markets' Balance Sheet. The successful candidate will collaborate with various internal stakeholders to identify and implement optimization efforts across the financial footprint to maximize resource utilization and returns, and will also be involved in emerging regulatory and business projects.

What We're Looking For

Develop expertise in Balance Sheet, Funding & Liquidity metrics to advise stakeholders and implement financial resource optimization.,Advise business stakeholders on risk and capital optimization, collaborating on implementation.,Enhance Wholesale businesses balance sheet analytics for regulatory and strategic growth.,Partner with SMEs to propose impacts/initiatives related to emerging regulatory environments (e.g., Basel III).,Manage and develop risk and return ratios under constraints, identifying red flags and communicating impacts.,Work with various RBC groups to provide insightful analysis of key drivers and balance sheet growth.,Manage planning, forecasting, and strategic reviews of CM balance sheet, RWA, and leverage exposure.,Provide proactive support for balance sheet-related projects like stress testing and new business proposals.,Develop and maintain analytical models to identify growth impacts on the balance sheet and RWA/leverage exposure.,Support and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Head Office and Investor Relations materials.

Ideal Candidate

CA-CPA or CFA designation holder.,Other accounting or finance designation, FRM, MBA or equivalent related designation preferred.,3+ years of high-level involvement in Financial/management reporting.,Proficiency with computer applications, such as Excel, PowerPoint; VBA knowledge also preferred.,Strong expertise in developing and applying financial models to analyze data and enhance reporting.,Exposure to Capital Markets and understanding of RBC CM business (Nice-to-have).,Knowledge of RBC financial systems and associated procedures (Nice-to-have).
