This role is within RBC Capital Markets' Funding and Liquidity Technology group, focusing on supporting business units that manage secured and unsecured funding. The successful candidate will contribute to new capabilities to optimize RBC's firm funding in alignment with risk appetite. It's a hands-on development role in a small team, requiring direct liaison with business analysts and users, with opportunities to learn the Capital Markets business.
Implement software for Funding initiatives and integrate with generic data processing pipeline.,Carry out data analysis & schema designs for Funding and Liquidity modernization applications.,Code, test, debug, implement and support a strategic end-of-day batch and real-time Funding and Asset Liability Reporting.,Analyze, debug, and resolve production issues related to data flows, application performance, system latency, and infrastructure/network products.,Support application deployment, production incidents, and issues on a rotational basis as an application developer/owner, with potential for limited out-of-hours work and on-call availability.,Act as a mentor and technical leader, providing architecture oversight and technology guidance for ongoing and upcoming projects.,Collaborate with the wider Capital Markets community for input and review of approach/design.,Communicate and interact frequently with RBC partners and/or employees globally.
