The Associate Director, Protective Intelligence will support RBC's Corporate Security Intelligence Program by monitoring and assessing global threats that could impact RBC's employees, executives, physical assets, and operations. This role involves collecting and analyzing intelligence from traditional and social media sources, providing actionable intelligence to stakeholders, and contributing to timely intelligence briefings and assessments for the Corporate Security global team.
Collect, analyze, and communicate intelligence on global threats impacting RBC employees, executives, physical assets, and operations.,Provide post-incident research and analytical support for the Executive Protection program during critical and urgent events.,Deliver timely intelligence products supporting Physical Security Operations Centers monitoring and escalation workflows.,Produce ad-hoc, weekly, and quarterly intelligence briefings for key stakeholders.,Develop and deliver situational reports for major events, providing clear threat context and potential impacts to RBC, its employees, and operations.,Conduct enhanced due diligence and targeted research on identified threats.,Participate in an on-call rotation to support emerging incidents outside of core business hours.,Manage reporting on established performance metrics and service levels to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the Intelligence program.
Excellent understanding of the global threat landscape and interest in geo-political issues.,Excellent open-source intelligence gathering skills.,Strong investigative skills, ability to think critically and question information to determine its factuality.,Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work across various lines of business.,Solid understanding of risk mitigation strategies.,Strong and proven ability to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly changing environment.,Post Secondary education from a recognized college or university, preferably in International Relations, Security/Strategic/Intelligence Studies, Political Science (Nice-to-have).,CPP 'Certified Protection Profession' designation from ASIS International or relevant OSINT certifications (Nice-to-have).
