The Risk Management Solutions Group (RMSG) at National Bank Capital Markets seeks a driven and ambitious Associate Director for their Toronto trading floor. This role involves originating and managing customized OTC Foreign Exchange risk management solutions for commercial and entrepreneurial clients. The successful candidate will support the RMS Coverage Team, prepare presentation materials, conduct in-depth research and analysis, and develop a vast network to coordinate the distribution process of derivative transactions. This position offers significant ownership, autonomy, and the opportunity to shape one's career trajectory within a high-energy environment. The team focuses on developing and originating financial derivative and structured solutions across various asset classes for existing and prospective clients, collaborating closely with Commercial, National Accounts, and Specialized Banking teams.

What We're Looking For

Originate and propose customized OTC Foreign Exchange risk management solutions tailored to clients' operational and strategic needs,

Develop, grow and manage a portfolio of commercial and entrepreneurial clients across multiple industries,

Support the RMS Coverage Team in developing customized OTC Foreign Exchange solutions tailored to clients' specific needs,

Prepare presentation material, market commentaries and generate a variety of data-based reports and analysis,

Conduct in-depth research and analysis on companies, markets and associated risks,

Develop a vast network including internal partners and clients to coordinate the distribution process from end to end,

Price and execute various derivative transactions using models,

Minimum of 3 years working in a permanent finance function,

Experience in sales and business origination,

Superior analytical and quantitative proficiencies,

Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, a working knowledge of Bloomberg Terminal,

Ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and other advisors

Ideal Candidate

Graduate degree in finance or other STEM fields,

CFA is an asset
