This role supports Royal Bank of Canada's Private Banking team by specializing in credit structures. The Associate Director will underwrite annual reviews and manage credit relationships for large and complex high-net-worth clients and sophisticated business structures in the Greater Toronto Region. The position involves developing tailored lending solutions, securing risk approvals, and managing loan fulfillment.
Conduct annual credit reviews of complex borrowing relationships within the Private Banking wholesale portfolio.,Partner with Private Bankers and credit team members to gather information for annual reviews and new credit transactions.,Perform comprehensive financial analysis of borrowers and guarantors on large, complex transactions.,Structure credit solutions for personal holding companies, professional corporations, and trusts.,Conduct securities and portfolio analysis.,Coach and mentor junior credit team members.,Identify process improvements and contribute to special projects.,Proven lending experience in retail, commercial, or capital markets.,Strong capability in analyzing complex financial statements.,Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.,Ability to manage multiple credit files simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.,Excellent communication skills and client-focused mindset.
University degree in business or a related field.,CFA or MBA designation (preferred).
