Associate Director, Business Management & Automation

Description

This role supports the Business Management team within Business and Client Service Technology (BCST) to ensure smooth, transparent operations and effective governance. The position involves overseeing the IT portfolio, championing organizational improvements, leading the business management function, managing IT planning (development, maintenance, strategy, communications), developing and monitoring metrics for the BCST group, identifying gaps, recommending process improvements, driving annual work plans across global IT teams, coordinating control functions for projects, and overseeing project onboarding and financial governance activities.

What We're Looking For

Lead the business management function within Business and Client Service Technology (BCST),Manage all aspects of the IT planning process, including development, maintenance, NIE, strategy, and communications,Develop, provide, and monitor metrics for the BCST group,Identify gaps and recommend process improvements,Drive the annual work plan across multiple global IT teams,Coordinate control functions for projects and the overall BCST group,Oversee the BCST project onboarding process and related project and financial governance activities,Communicate and interact frequently with RBC partners and/or employees located across Canada and/or worldwide

Ideal Candidate

6+ years of work experience in business management, preferably in the banking industry,Undergraduate Degree, preferably in Business, CA or Computer Science (Nice to have),Capital Markets knowledge (Nice to have)

Minimum Education

Undergraduate Degree (preferably in Business, CA or Computer Science is a 'Nice to have')
