Description

The Associate, Commercial Banking role at CIBC supports account teams in client acquisition, relationship management, and credit management, while also providing transactional assistance for client financing solutions. This position aims to prepare individuals for a career as a Relationship Manager, focusing on delivering flexible business solutions and expert advice to help clients achieve their goals.

What We're Looking For

Provide support to account teams through client acquisition, relationship management, and credit management processes.,Provide transactional support for client specific financing solutions.,Assist Relationship Managers in coordinating activities through the sales cycle and liaising with other CIBC units.,Assist with the execution of business development initiatives and contribute to growth targets.,Identify business opportunities and develop financing solutions for clients.,Assist in evaluating business growth opportunities through comprehensive industry, client, and prospect research.,Prepare analyses in support of credit submissions, including structuring and documentation.,Proactively assess clients' needs and propose solutions.,Interact with assigned clients to facilitate prompt responses to questions, inquiries, or issues.,Apply acquired industry/company knowledge to develop client/prospect proposals for financial and strategic solutions.

Ideal Candidate

Demonstrated experience in financial statements and accounting principles, including valuation techniques and cash flow analysis.,Degree/diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
