Description

This role involves supporting CIBC's Commercial Banking team in client acquisition, relationship management, and credit processes, as well as providing transactional support for financing solutions. It's a preparatory position for a Relationship Manager career, focusing on delivering flexible business solutions, expertise, and timely advice to clients to help them achieve their goals.

What We're Looking For

Assist Relationship Managers with coordinating activities through the sales cycle and liaising with other CIBC units.,Support the execution of business development initiatives and contribute to growth targets by identifying business opportunities and developing financing solutions.,Lead outbound marketing efforts through targeted phone calls, emails, and digital campaigns.,Identify and pursue new business opportunities with high net worth individuals and institutional prospects.,Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and drive revenue growth.,Assist in evaluating business growth opportunities through comprehensive industry, client, and prospect research.,Prepare analyses to support credit submissions, including structuring and documentation.,Proactively assess clients’ needs and propose solutions.,Interact with assigned clients to facilitate prompt responses to questions, inquiries, or issues, providing "best in class" service.,Apply acquired industry/company knowledge to develop client/prospect proposals for financial and strategic solutions.

Ideal Candidate

Demonstrated experience in financial statements and accounting principles, including valuation techniques and cash flow analysis.,Proven ability to drive sales growth through outbound marketing and strategic initiatives, and identify new business opportunities.,A degree/diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.,Ability to investigate complex problems and make sense of information, and communicate detailed information meaningfully.,Proactive and takes ownership, empowered to take the lead, go above and beyond, and deliver results.,Embraces and champions change, continuously evolving thinking and work.,Driven by collective success, valuing collaboration and an inclusive team environment.,Embodies CIBC's values of trust, teamwork, and accountability.

Minimum Education

Degree/diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
