Description

This role supports CIBC's Agriculture & Commercial Banking team by assisting with client acquisition, relationship management, and credit management, as well as providing transactional support for financing solutions. It's a preparatory role for becoming a Relationship Manager, focusing on delivering business solutions, expertise, and advice to clients. The position involves supporting business development, conducting research and evaluation for growth opportunities and credit submissions, and proactively managing client experience.

What We're Looking For

Assist Relationship Managers in coordinating sales cycle activities and liaising with other CIBC units.,Execute business development initiatives and contribute to growth targets by identifying opportunities and developing financing solutions.,Assist in evaluating business growth opportunities through industry, client, and prospect research.,Prepare analyses for credit submissions, including structuring and documentation.,Proactively assess client needs and propose solutions.,Interact with clients to address questions, inquiries, or issues.,Apply industry/company knowledge to develop client/prospect proposals for financial and strategic solutions.

Ideal Candidate

Experience in financial statements and accounting principles, including valuation techniques and cash flow analysis.,Experience in Agri-business and/or Agri-food related companies.,Degree/diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, Agriculture, or a related field.
