Description

The RBC Dominion Securities branch in Halifax is seeking a resourceful, efficient, and collaborative Associate for their wealth management firm. This role focuses on providing exceptional ongoing service and support to clients and the Advisor team. Key responsibilities include maintaining existing client accounts, ensuring account administration and documentation are up-to-date and compliant, responding to client inquiries, assisting with new client onboarding, and supporting Investment Advisors in managing client portfolios and wealth management planning opportunities.

What We're Looking For

Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities for client contact.

Manage timelines and key dates for accounts to ensure client support.

Respond to client inquiries efficiently (e.g., account transactions, requests, documentation, reporting).

Utilize problem resolution skills for proactive client service and liaise with departments for solutions.

Effectively manage incoming communications from clients, Advisors, and partners.

Assist the Advisor team in welcoming and onboarding new clients.

Coordinate and prepare client/prospect meetings for Advisors.

Become well-versed in internal controls and industry regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate and compliant client files.

Update the team's communication channels, including websites, LinkedIn, Facebook, brochures, and newsletters.

Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery.

Support the Advisor team and clients through the Wealth Management process and maintain an audit of activities.

Ideal Candidate

Must-have: Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE).

Must-have: Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Must-have: High quality time management and organization skills.

Must-have: Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that is professional, warm, and friendly.

Must-have: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-have: Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures.

Nice-to-have: Experience in the securities industry.
