Associate Advisor Wealth Management

Description

RBC Dominion Securities, a leading investment and wealth management firm, is seeking an Associate Advisor to join their Sidney, BC branch. This role involves working with a Portfolio Manager and their team, providing proactive advice and support to clients, helping to deepen existing relationships, welcoming new clients, and identifying opportunities to grow the business.

What We're Looking For

Facilitate meetings and events for the team with clients and prospects.,Determine agenda and key topics, prepare documentation, and execute post-meeting work.,Attend client meetings when required.,Provide proactive client service and problem resolution.,Liaise with various departments for smooth and timely solutions.,Respond to client account inquiries and take ownership of follow-ups.,Help build and execute business plans, client segmentation exercises, and client service plans.,Identify opportunities for asset consolidation and referrals.,Support new client acquisition and manage relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) and RBC partners.,Provide trading and/or portfolio rebalancing support.,Conduct ongoing research on markets and investments.,Support advisory team and clients throughout the Wealth Management process.,Coordinate activities with internal Wealth Management specialists, manage documentation, track progress and follow up.

Ideal Candidate

Must-have:,Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO,Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE),Retail Securities Exam,University degree,Exceptional written and verbal communication skills,Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite,Nice-have:,4 years or more of professional experience within the investment industry,Certified Financial Planner designation,Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem solving and analytical skills,Highly developed client service skills
