Associate Advisor

Description

This role at RBC Dominion Securities involves working with an Investment Advisor team to provide proactive advice and support to clients, deepen existing relationships, and help acquire new clients. The Associate Advisor will facilitate client meetings, resolve client issues, support business plan execution, identify asset consolidation opportunities, manage relationships with Centers of Influence, assist with trading and portfolio rebalancing, conduct market research, and coordinate activities with Wealth Management specialists.

What We're Looking For

Leverage talent for planning to facilitate meetings and events for the Investment Advisor with clients and prospects.,Help determine agenda and key topics, prepare documentation, execute post-meeting work, and attend client meetings when required.,Provide proactive client service, liaising with various departments for smooth and timely solutions.,Effectively respond to client account inquiries and take ownership of follow-ups.,Help build and execute business plans, client segmentation exercises, and client service plans.,Identify opportunities for asset consolidation and referrals across the existing client base.,Support advisory team with new client acquisition.,Nurture and manage valuable relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) and RBC partners.,Trading and / or portfolio rebalancing support.,Conduct ongoing research on markets and investments and provide regular updates to the advisory team.,Support both the advisory team and clients throughout the Wealth Management process.,Coordinate activities with internal Wealth Management specialists, manage documentation, track progress, and follow up.

Ideal Candidate

Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with IIROC,Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE),Retail Securities Exam,University degree,Exceptional written and verbal communication skills,Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite,4 years or more of professional experience within the investment industry (Nice-to-have),Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving and analytical skills (Nice-to-have),Highly developed client service skills (Nice-to-have)
