Associate - Product Controller

Description

The Associate Product Controller will be responsible for providing daily mark-to-market valuation, Profit and Loss (P&L) reporting, and reconciliation for various banking platforms and asset classes. This role involves liaising with multiple internal teams to facilitate trading activities and P&L production, identifying process improvements, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

What We're Looking For

Accountable for P&L production, reporting, and reconciliation for one or multiple platforms.,Inform senior management of potential exposures and collaborate with the Product Control team.,Identify and implement process improvements for productivity.,Perform daily P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations.,Maintain knowledge of asset class handling within Front Office systems.,Perform testing of new system updates.,Provide information for internal and external audit requests.,Understand RBC operations and business unit functions.,Pro-actively monitor operational issues for trading portfolios.,Develop advanced understanding of procedures and operational controls for trading systems and workflows.

Ideal Candidate

University Degree in business, accounting, or a related field,Canadian Securities Course (Nice-to-have),CFA Candidates or Charter holders (Nice-to-have)
