The Corporate Access Associate will join the team in New York/HQ at 1 Vanderbilt, focusing on the Financials / Industrials / Energy sectors and conference work. The role involves planning and executing conference meeting allocations for corporate and investing clients, partnering internally with Sales & Trading, Research, and Banking/ECM, and externally with buyside and corporate clients. The associate will manage multiple events, handle Analyst Marketing, execute firm prioritization strategies to drive revenue, and develop a network of contacts. The position requires independent work, problem-solving, and collaboration with internal teams to gather market intelligence and enhance the investor experience. It also involves mentoring team members and owning the conference allocation process.
Plan and execute all stages of conference meeting allocation with corporate and investing clients.,Partner internally with Sales & Trading, Research, and Banking/ECM.,Partner externally with buyside clients and corporate clients (investor relations professionals, C-suite, Buy-Side Broker Liaisons).,Work independently while managing multiple live events/projects.,Handle Analyst Marketing in respective sectors.,Understand and execute firm prioritization strategy for driving revenue via meeting allocations.,Work directly with sales/sales trading to monetize.,Develop and maintain a network of contacts within the space.,Multi-task within a fast-paced and dynamic environment while focusing on details.,Problem-solve and demonstrate leadership with communication across all stakeholders.,Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyze market intelligence, investor feedback, and industry trends.,Mentor and guide team members as needed/applicable; foster a collaborative group dynamic.,Ownership over all aspects of the conference allocation process, including: firming up specifics/restrictions, launching events, updating internal systems, building schedules, and managing logistics.,Gathers, researches information and analyzes the market.,Executes detailed data analysis and valuation.,Provides in-depth market reports and expert recommendations.,Identifies issues affecting clients and provides recommendations.,Develops deep client relationships and presents new ideas.,Executes trades and secures deals with new clients.,Keeps market-making traders informed of relevant issues.,Obtains market prices from market-making traders and executes trades.,Ensures all trades are confirmed and meet company policies.,Inputs trades (post execution) and verifies transactions.,Researches and resolves trade discrepancies.,Coordinates with back office on failed trade status, position breaks, and reconciliation.,Assists traders in mark-to-market process.,Looks for ways to improve workflow efficiencies.,Reads and understands the Trading Supervision Standard.,Demonstrates governance, control, and risk management behaviors.
Bachelor's degree, or specialized training / equivalent work experience.,3+ Years of related experience.,Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, establishes priorities, and possesses strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.,Management experience and solid computer skills.,Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field; strong understanding of the financial markets.,Preferred: ~3-4+ years in a corporate access, investor relations or related positions in the financial services industry.,Preferred: SIE, 7, 63 exams strongly preferred.,Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.,Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and market research.,Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.,Excellent communication, attention to detail and multi-tasking capability.,Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), Zoom and MS Teams as well as ability to quickly learn applications specific to our team.,Comfortable working with people at all organizational levels, as well as a high-pressure environment.,Ability to understand business strategies and partner across divisions.,Strong team player with a willingness to pivot across multiple projects and teams, adaptable with a can-do attitude.
