Associate - ABS Structurer, TD Securities

Description

TD Securities is seeking an Associate, ABS Structurer with a strong background in asset-backed securities, finance, and quantitative analysis. This role involves structuring and underwriting ABS deals, developing collateral, cashflow, and credit models, and collaborating with various teams to support strategic initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Structuring and underwriting ABS-related deals.,Working with third parties in underwriting processes.,Building and maintaining ABS-related collateral, cashflow, and credit models.,Collaborating with banking teams for new deal pitches.,Assisting sales teams with investor requests and stress scenario analysis.,Studying rating agencies' coverage and methodologies.,Generating new structuring strategies.,Identifying new subsector growth opportunities within the bank with the coverage group.,Ensuring underwriting positions and swap exposures are within approved limits.,Consulting with the bank's other operations in Canada, Europe, Asia Pacific, and the U.S. to assist in meeting firm objectives.,Observing strict adherence to the firm's procedures.,Understanding and complying with TD Securities (USA) Policies, regulatory, and compliance requirements.,Providing expert knowledge on market data, economic information, and key industry developments.,Developing and maintaining contacts with market participants.,Communicating bank policy information and recommending strategies.,Demonstrating governance, control, and risk management behaviors.

Ideal Candidate

Series 7 and 63 licenses.,Must be detail oriented and possess problem-solving skills.,Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and establish priorities.

Minimum Education

Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics
