Description

The Assistant Store Manager leads a team in achieving store objectives, delivering exceptional customer service, and reaching performance goals. This role involves day-to-day team leadership, overseeing complex sales activities, providing financial advice, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The manager will drive customer advice behaviors, handle critical issues, and actively participate in community events to promote the TD Brand.

Lead a team to achieve store objectives and provide excellent customer experience.,Provide day-to-day team leadership and work direction.,Oversee complex sales advice activities.,Possess knowledge of financial concepts, products, services, and business management.,Drive and reinforce advice activities through coaching and communication.,Possess comprehensive knowledge of the local market, competitive offers, and economic trends.,Effectively handle critical and high-risk issues.,Coach and develop team members to deliver exceptional service.,Establish work direction and role ownership.,Deliver end-to-end advice to customers.,Contribute to business growth through identifying advice opportunities and referrals.,Actively participate in community events.,Connect with customers/prospects, provide financial advice, and deepen relationships through lead management activities.,Maintain optimal colleague scheduling.,Act as an escalation point for customer problem resolution.,Lead and drive operational compliance for all store operations.,Ensure the store operates efficiently and passes all audits.,May perform daily store operation activities like account maintenance, wire transfers, store opening/closing, and cash management.,Develop/lead Store in Operational Excellence plan.,Vault Management, including monthly vault and drawer audits.,Identify and mitigate risk and proactively audit for adherence to compliance, policies, and procedures.,Understand and apply operating policies and procedures.,Support timely and accurate completion of business processes.,Escalate non-standard or high-risk transactions.,Ensure documentation is accurate and consistent with rules/regulations.,Support and participate in process improvement opportunities.,Ensure necessary due diligence for customer transactions.,Proficiency, understanding, and compliance with the Bank Code of Conduct.,Lead and support a high-performing team, provide feedback and performance reviews.,Ensure colleagues comply with all TDBFG policies, procedures, and guidelines.,Share knowledge, information, skills, and subject matter expertise.,Support an environment for escalating business challenges and facilitating change.,Participate in recruitment and selection.,Promote a fair and equitable environment.,Must be eligible for employment with a covered financial institution under Regulation Z.,Must be eligible for registration as a registered mortgage loan originator with NMLS.,Satisfactory results on a criminal background check and a credit report check.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.,2+ years experience working with customers and/or sales in any capacity or equivalent.,Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.,Notary License (Preferred).,Must maintain an active registration status with NMLS upon hire.
