Assistant Store Manager - Raritan

Description

The Assistant Store Manager at The Toronto-Dominion Bank in Raritan, New Jersey, is an experienced leader responsible for managing the daily service, sales, and operational objectives within a store location. This role focuses on leading a team to enhance customer relationships, providing TD’s model of convenience, sales, and advice, and delivering a personalized banking experience. The manager is expected to lead with minimal direction, making day-to-day decisions for both the teller line and platform operations.

What We're Looking For

Lead a team of advice and service colleagues to achieve individual and Store objectives.,Provide day-to-day team leadership and work direction for effective service and advice delivery.,Oversee complex sales advice activities involving multiple systems and partners.,Possess comprehensive knowledge of financial concepts, products, services, and tools.,Drive and reinforce Advice activities/capability for the team through coaching and communication.,Effectively handle critical and/or high-risk issues.,Coach and develop advisory team on advice-giving strategies and product acumen.,Establish work direction and role ownership for advice delivery and objective achievement.,Contribute to business objectives by identifying advice opportunities and referrals.,Actively participate in community events to promote the TD Brand.,Connect with Customers/Prospects, provide financial advice, and deepen relationships through lead management.,Lead and drive operational compliance for all Store operations (teller and platform).,Ensure efficient Store operation by adhering to bank policies and procedures.,Identify and mitigate risk, proactively audit for adherence to compliance and operational soundness.,Understand and apply operating policies and procedures.,Support timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures.,Escalate non-standard or high-risk transactions/activities.,Ensure accuracy of documentation reflecting Customer/business intentions and regulatory consistency.,Lead and support a high-performing team, provide feedback, and develop colleagues.,Ensure colleagues comply with all TDBFG policies, procedures, and conduct guidelines.,Share knowledge, information, skills, and subject matter expertise among the team.,Participate in the recruitment and selection process for all hires.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.,2+ years experience working with customers and/or sales.,Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.,Demonstrated ability to provide Legendary Customer Service.,Strong verbal and written communication skills.,Sales and Operational Management skills.,Ability to manage competing priorities.,Previous consumer and residential lending experience preferred.,Proficient in Microsoft Office.,Knowledge of banking products and services preferred.,Demonstrated organization, interpersonal, communication and decision-making skills.,Notary License (Preferred).,Must maintain an active registration status with NMLS upon hire.,Eligible for employment with a covered financial institution under Regulation Z.,Eligible for registration as a registered mortgage loan originator with the NMLS.,Satisfactory results on a criminal background check and a credit report check.
