The Assistant Store Manager at TD Bank is an experienced leader responsible for the daily service, sales, and operational objectives of a store. This role involves leading a team to enhance customer relationships through convenience, sales, and advice, providing a personalized experience. The manager will handle complex service and advice activities, drive advice behaviors within the team, understand the local market, and manage critical issues, contributing to business growth and community engagement.

What We're Looking For

Lead a team of advice and service colleagues to achieve individual and store objectives, ensuring excellent customer and colleague experience, and meeting performance goals.,Provide day-to-day team leadership and direction for efficient delivery of personalized service and advice, while adhering to compliance and regulatory guidelines.,Lead the team in complex sales advice activities involving multiple systems and partners.,Possess knowledge of financial concepts, banking products, services, and tools, along with business and process management acumen.,Drive and reinforce advice activities, coaching the team on proactive advice and product recommendations.,Understand the local market, competitive offers, and economic trends.,Effectively handle critical and high-risk issues.,Coach and develop the team to deliver exceptional service and advice.,Contribute to business objectives through identifying advice opportunities and referrals.,Actively participate in community events to promote the TD Brand.,Connect with customers/prospects, provide financial advice, and deepen relationships through lead management.,Ensure the team interacts with customers warmly, actively listens, and asks clarifying questions.,Proactively attract, acquire, and retain customers, advice opportunities, and referrals to increase profitability.,Support strong partnerships for effective referrals.,Reinforce customer service activities, including supporting customers through challenging times.,Maintain optimal colleague scheduling.,Act as an escalation point for customer problem resolution.,Create personal experiences by understanding customer needs.,Lead and drive operational compliance for all store operations.,Lead the team in completing daily processes/transactions/activities.,Ensure efficient store operation by adhering to policies and procedures and passing audits.,May perform daily store operation activities including account maintenance, wire transfers, store opening/closing, and cash management.,Develop/lead Store in Operational Excellence plan.,Manage vault, including monthly vault and drawer audits.,Identify and mitigate risk, proactively auditing for compliance.,Understand and apply operating policies and procedures.,Support timely and accurate completion of business processes.,Escalate non-standard or high-risk transactions.,Ensure accuracy of prepared/completed documentation.,Support and participate in process improvement opportunities.,Ensure necessary due diligence for accurate customer transactions.,Comply with Bank Code of Conduct.,Lead and support a high-performing team, providing feedback, coaching, and performance reviews.,Ensure colleagues comply with all TDBFG policies, procedures, and guidelines of conduct.,Share knowledge, information, and skills within the team.,Support an environment where challenges are escalated, and facilitate change.,Participate in recruitment and selection.,Promote a fair and equitable environment.,Act as a brand champion for the business area/function and the bank.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.,2+ years experience working with customers and/or sales in any capacity or equivalent.,Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.,Demonstrated ability to provide Legendary Customer Service.,Strong verbal and written communication skills.,Sales and Operational Management skills.,Ability to manage competing priorities.,Previous consumer and residential lending experience preferred.,Proficient in Microsoft Office.,Knowledge of banking products and services preferred.,Demonstrated organization, interpersonal, communication and decision-making skills.,Proficiency with expense management.,Notary License (Preferred).,Must maintain an an active registration status with NMLS upon hire.
