The Assistant Store Manager is a leadership role responsible for supervising the daily service, sales, and operational functions of a TD Bank retail branch. The position focuses on guiding a team to strengthen customer relationships by delivering personalized banking advice and a high-quality service experience while ensuring the store meets its performance and regulatory objectives.
Lead and manage a team of advice and service colleagues to achieve store performance goals,Oversee daily operations including teller line and platform activities with minimal supervision,Coach and develop staff to provide proactive customer advice and product recommendations,Maintain compliance with all regulatory guidelines and internal operating procedures,Identify and mitigate operational risks through regular audits and vault management,Handle complex sales activities and customer service escalations,Manage store schedules and ensure effective delivery of service solutions
2+ years of experience in customer service or sales in any capacity,Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred,Knowledge of banking products, services, and consumer/residential lending preferred,Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite,Strong understanding of operational excellence and risk management
