This role involves supporting the Relationship Manager (RM) in managing client relationships, particularly those with high visibility or complex requirements. Key responsibilities include providing administrative services, updating clients on market information, directly handling client requests and trade processing inquiries, potentially assisting with marketing and business prospecting, preparing documentation for account opening and KYC, collaborating with internal teams for trade monitoring, ensuring adherence to RBC policies, participating in assigned projects, and escalating client or risk-related issues.
Support RM in providing administrative service to clients, especially those with high visibility or complex requirements.,Assist in providing updated market information to clients.,Handle clients' requests and instructions directly, including trade processing and inquiries on operational issues.,May provide marketing support for RM and perform limited business prospecting activities, including client/prospect communication and seminar activities.,Collect and prepare documentation for account opening, KYC, and risk profiling.,Work closely with internal partners on monitoring the entire trade processing, including system input, settlement, confirmation, and remittance.,Adhere to RBC policies and procedures, protecting the business from financial and reputational risk.,Comply with relevant Group policies, consider and escalate the adequacy and effectiveness of business controls regularly.,Follow operating procedures which include relevant controls to meet group and local policy requirements.,Participate in projects assigned by Business Management (BM) team.,Escalate client and risk issues to Team Head, BM, or other members of FO management team where necessary.,Preparation of RM's business trip and client meetings.,Assist in other ad-hoc projects and client related matters.,Pre-agreed key deliverables of process change/improvement projects.,Deputizing other ARMs on an ad-hoc basis.,Continuously upgrade relevant skills and complete CACS requirements on CPD hours.,Administrative support and other duties as assigned by higher management.,Effective management of KRIs.
Degree or equivalent is required.,Typically requires 5 years of Assistant Relationship Manager experience in Private Bank.,Proficiency in Mandarin is essential for speaking to clients from North Asia.,CACS Paper 1 and 2.,Excellent communication and client servicing skills.,Team Player.,Self-motivated individual with a positive change mindset.,Excellent administrative and execution track records.,Ability to provide organization and client focus solutions.,Solid inter-personal and communication skills.,Advanced Bloomberg & Reuters knowledge.,Strong knowledge in banking products, especially in the Wealth Management (WM) space.,Avaloq system knowledge is preferred.
