Collaborate with design, programming, and production teams to create world-class player experiences.

Imagine and communicate creative visions to leadership and teams for new content.

Direct and mentor a global team of artists.

Translate development discipline needs (e.g., Design, Programming) into final artwork.

Provide effective feedback across all art disciplines, including concept, modeling, environment, tech art, lighting, and VFX.

Identify and guide great ideas through the pipeline, maintaining and advancing the Fortnite brand style.

Integrate analysis and feedback into visual direction for new art, thinking strategically about art's impact on player experience.

Experience defining and shipping a product-level vision.

Strong desire to partner with other disciplines to create a unified vision.

Clear understanding of art team roles in the player experience.

Experience as a product-level Art Director or Creative Director in a game studio.

Strong understanding of art fundamentals, multiple art styles, anatomy, appeal, and storytelling.

Experience supporting and directing artists across multiple disciplines.

Ability to adapt to and innovate on new styles and techniques with a deep understanding of art disciplines and workflows.

Strong collaborative nature to partner with other art directors, discipline leads, and production.

Strong leadership skills to guide large teams toward a shared vision.

Experience providing effective feedback for outsourcing and contractors.
