Animal Health Technician - Toxicology

Description

This role involves ensuring the well-being of laboratory animals and supporting the integrity of pre-clinical studies. Key responsibilities include collecting biological samples and data, administering injections, safely handling animals, and maintaining clean animal environments.

What We're Looking For

Collect biological samples (e.g., blood, urine) with precision,Perform data collection (e.g., body weight, food consumption, clinical signs),Administer injections (subcutaneous, intramuscular) according to protocols,Handle and restrain animals safely and humanely,Maintain clean and compliant animal rooms,Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg and perform tasks requiring walking, standing, and stooping

Ideal Candidate

Minimum a College Diploma in Animal Health, Bioecology, or any related Animal Science discipline,Relevant experience with injections and/or blood collection on animals

Work Hours
