Charles River Laboratories is seeking an Animal Care Technician I for their Insourcing Solutions site in Hamilton, MT. This entry-level position focuses on the well-being and housing of research animals, contributing to global health. The role includes a $500 sign-on bonus and offers training and development in life sciences.

What We're Looking For

Maintain cagewash and animal holding ABSL 4 facilities in a clean and organized manner.,Operate equipment and perform general housekeeping.,Clean, sanitize, and repair caging materials and autoclaves.,Perform animal husbandry: providing food, water, and a clean environment.,Perform and record daily animal health checks.,Animal handling and restraint.,Receipt, stocking, and maintenance of supply orders.,Prepare and submit all required written records, charts, logs, and inventories.,Work actively with customers to address requests, inquiries, and complaints.,Provide technical assistance.

Ideal Candidate

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.,Ability to stand for extended periods of time.,Strong attention to detail.,Enjoys being part of a team.

Minimum Education

High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
