Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records for animal breeding and housing, assisting with animal restraint and handling, and potentially participating in breeding and weaning procedures. The technician may also monitor entry into rooms, operate equipment, and perform general housekeeping.

Associate's degree with 6 months of animal handling, care, and husbandry experience,OR Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in biology, animal science, or a related field with zero experience in animal handling and husbandry,Achieve ALAT certification upon eligibility
