Description

This Senior Real Estate Analyst role in Berlin supports senior team members across the entire investment lifecycle, from originating opportunities to managing portfolios. Key responsibilities include evaluating direct and platform-level investments in various sectors and geographies, with a focus on financial modeling, market analysis, due diligence, and asset optimization. The position offers a chance to gain diverse experience within an entrepreneurial real estate team investing institutional capital in large-scale, complex opportunities.

What We're Looking For

Build, maintain, and audit financial models (DCF, LBO structures, residual analysis, development valuation, JV cascades, sensitivity/scenario analyses).,Underwrite complex capital structures, analyze debt financing options, develop interest rate hedging strategies, and support debt package execution.,Prepare investment committee documents, including detailed presentation packs.,Interact directly with brokers, consultants, and partners to gather critical information for transaction evaluation/underwriting.,Coordinate internal and external workflows during due diligence, including legal, tax, technical, and financial reviews.,Support the origination process by screening potential investment opportunities against established criteria.,Conduct site visits and property inspections as part of the due diligence process.,Assist in structuring and negotiating transaction terms alongside senior team members.,Analyze asset performance indicators, including leasing, capital expenditures, occupancy, and revenue variance.,Assist with quarterly and annual portfolio reporting, business plan updates, and forecast revisions.,Contribute to value creation planning and execution in coordination with operational partners and management.,Monitor sustainability metrics and ESG performance across the portfolio.,Conduct market research on sectors, operators, and macroeconomic trends to support investment theses.,Support relationship management with operational partners, brokers, and other industry contacts.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, real estate, engineering, or a related discipline.,Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in real estate private equity, investment banking, or a real estate investment platform.,Any other combination of education and experience may be considered.
